Music plays a integral role in the life of a Christian. We sing as it's an overflow of our heart, but also because we're called to. The Bible exhorts us numerous times saying, "Make a joyful noise to the Lord all the earth … Come into his presence with singing!" (Psalms 100:1–2) "Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth!" (Psalm 96:1) Jesus even sang! (Matthew 26:30) Whether we are singing praises on Sunday or shouting at the top of our lungs in our car, it is all worship. The Resurgence and Mars Hill have teamed up to provide you with gospel-centered songs to worship with. We're taking timeless hymns and creating new arrangements of them and also writing new songs to the glory of God. It is our hope and prayer that the Holy Spirit will use these albums to encourage, comfort, convict, and bless you.
